I only stayed here for one quick overnight because there wasn’t much area to walk the dogs at all. There were a few small green areas but they were part of the landscaping. Everything else was gravel and dirt. This RV Park boasts the best and least expensive souvenir shop in Roswell and Roswell is loaded with UFO and Alien souvenir shops. However, I didn’t really see anything special when I was in there briefly.
The owners have small dogs and there were a number of campers with dogs but I didn’t find it a particularly “dog-friendly” RV park. There were no places to walk and no poo bag dispensers like you always find at most RV Parks. The back in sites with grass are for longer term stays and the pull thrus in the middle are for overnighters, like me.
This RV Park is just 1.4 miles down the same road as the Roswell International UFO Research Center & Museum. The entry fee is $5 and you get to tour all the exhibits, watch a documentary movie, shop in the gift shop, and you can even visit the research library.
This RV Park has one cash price and one credit card price and they also accept Good Sam membership for a discount. My total for one night, paying cash, was $31.00 for full hook ups. Amenities include a laundry room and restrooms but I think that’s about it, in addition to the little store.
